The largest thing happening to the borough is a rebuild
Eatontown holds part of the former Fort Monmouth, and its redevelopment dominates everything else going on locally — roughly $1.5bn of projects across the wider corridor, with the Howard Commons parcel cleared and rebuilt as housing. Residential development across the Fort is close to its Reuse Plan ceiling of 1,585 units with under 250 left to allocate.
