Post-war housing, and what it needs now
Much of the housing around the Monmouth University end of the borough was built between 1940 and 1969 — well-established, and old enough that supply lines, drain configurations and window and door frames have all had sixty-plus years of seasonal movement working on them. The neighbourhood also empties out over the summer, with 38.7% of residents there currently enrolled in college.
