A house here has stood since about 1720
The Parker Homestead sits on eleven acres in Little Silver, its main house built around 1720 and incorporating material from an earlier structure dated to roughly 1667. It is the clearest illustration of what the borough’s older stock actually is: buildings that have been altered, extended and re-serviced by many hands over three centuries, where no two walls were necessarily built the same way.
